New UK Location
We’re expanding to bigger and better premises
New UK location
With an increase in demand for UK manufactured goods continuing to soar, we saw this as an opportunity for expansion and a key driver for moving the business forwards. The decision to invest in a new location was taken in 2020 and top of the agenda was a larger premises offering the opportunity to install a larger UK based cable assembly production facility and warehousing capability. With this additional space, Novara would be able to offer increased capacity for our quick turnaround cable assembly services and local stocking facilities, something which we are often asked for from new and existing customers.
We started to look for our new premises in early 2021 with a focus on finding a facility which would provide room for our additional service offerings. We settled on a location in Hartley Wintney which is a large village in Hampshire, England and lies about 8 miles east of Basingstoke. This location provides good access to the UK motorway network situated within close proximity to the M3.
The premises was successfully obtained in the summer of 2021 and construction work began in late 2021, completing in March 2022. Improved office space, meeting rooms, increased capacity for our cable assembly production areas and warehousing have been installed on budget and on time. The new facility will significantly expand our current manufacturing capacity and enable further expansion over the next five years. Future plans also include the option to continue with expansion within these premises, including: cleanroom facilities for medical device manufacture and medical packaging solutions.
Nick Foster, CEO, said:
“This is a significant milestone in the history of Novara Technologies, I would like to thank everyone who has helped with the expansion into the new premises. Our new location will provide excellent opportunities for our team to expand and for our customers to take advantage of the additional service offerings. It is an excellent achievement that the construction has been completed both on time and on budget.”
